In my 40 years coming to Amsterdam, I have never been in such a horrible coffeeshop!! I walked in with a friend and wanted to take a seat at a table. The woman at the counter rudely and loudly said, "you have to buy something first". I went up to her to order a coffee, and she exclaims, "Order vat the table!!". The three men at the counter were unfriendly (to say it nicely)- three real prix. They have more house rules than a boarding camp for unruly children!! One example; "No loitering; Maximum 1 hour"- If I'm spending over Euro 100,00 on weed and drinks, I am NOT loitering!! No sunglasses, no card games, no cell phones, no this, no that. They require you to buy weed/ hash, and a drink- I have never experienced a coffeeshop in my 40 years visiting Amsterdam with such unfriendly staff, and so many posted rules!! They just want your money, and then to get the heck out!!! If this is what the new times are like (luckily they aren't) then good luck to you all, lol!! If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! In short, avoid this place like the plague; there are too many good shops in Amsterdam!!!!
