Coffeeshop Barentz has undergone a transformation and is now known as Coffee Shop Baba, having relocated from the Red Light District area. This move was necessitated by new regulations aimed at reshaping the city center, which resulted in the closure of around 20 coffeeshops before 2020.
The new location of Coffee Shop Baba may require a bit more walking compared to the old Barentz coffeeshop, but it presents an excellent opportunity to explore a different part of Amsterdam. Situated in a peaceful environment, it offers a welcome change of pace for visitors.
